At jey special needs our goal is to make the intake process as simple and welcoming as possible! If you believe that your child or teen may benefit from ABA Therapy please call one of our Centre locations to schedule an intake appointment. Initial intake appointments are free of charge and typically last 1 to 1.5 hours. A Clinical Supervisor will meet with your family to discuss services, while our team of friendly therapists will play with your child to assess skill levels. If your child is older, the therapist may spend more time interviewing him/her about his/her goals and preferences. At the end of the intake session, a more formal recommendation regarding therapy will be provided.
On the basis of findings obtained from individualized assessment, the ABA therapist creates a new unique plan for the growth of children. As every child is affected with different disabilities, we create a personalized therapy plan focusing on each child.
